In the latest incident, two people aboard a 15-metre schooner in Moroccan waters requested assistance from Spanish rescuers after reporting that an orca had struck their vessel several times, damaging the rudder and causing a leak. The vessel’s crew picked up a passing fuel tanker, which was called in by rescuers, while their own schooner in turn sank.
