Milk contaminated with bird flu is being disposed of in the US

Because most milk produced and sold in the U.S. comes from farms that use the pasteurisation process, authorities say they see no reason to change the safety assessment of commercial dairy supplies. However, the problem of infected cows is new, and there is still no research on exactly how pasteurisation affects H5N1 in cow’s milk.
